Real or AI: Photo Quiz Game is a photo quiz — real photo, or made by AI? Play the daily challenge, duel a friend through Game Center, and learn what gives an image away.
Need help, found a bug, or have a feature request? Email us — we read everything and answer in English.
Free, forever: the daily challenge in full, duels with friends in full, three topic rounds every day, and two of the four topics. Real or AI Pro removes the daily limit, unlocks all four topics, and opens your game history with the per-image review and your accuracy statistics. Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, monthly or yearly, and it renews until you cancel.
No. The whole single-player game — topics, difficulty, the daily challenge, the guide — works without signing in. Game Center is only needed for two things: appearing on the leaderboards and playing duels. If you are not signed in, those simply do not appear, and the app never nags you about it.
Exactly what Game Center shows in any game: the nickname and profile picture on your Game Center profile, and your score on a leaderboard. Your answers, your history and your statistics are never shared with anyone. You can change your nickname, hide your profile or sign out entirely in Settings → Game Center.
Leaderboards are part of Game Center, so they are managed by Apple, not by us. Open Settings → Game Center to sign out or to change what your profile shows. To remove Game Center data associated with your Apple ID, use Apple's privacy portal.
Both of you need to be signed in to Game Center and to have added each other as friends there — the friend list and the invitation are drawn by Apple, not by the app. Check that Game Center is on for both of you in Settings → Game Center, and that its notifications are allowed; the "your turn" alert is sent by Game Center itself. A turn-based duel waits a week for a move, so your friend does not have to be online when you start it.
It should not: the daily set is the same for everyone and changes at 00:00 UTC, which may be the middle of your day. Your three free rounds are a separate counter and reset at your own local midnight. If you really see two different sets on the same day, write to us with the date and we will look.
Your scores, history and statistics stay on your device and are never uploaded to us — we have no accounts and no servers. Duels and leaderboards run on Apple's Game Center, so match state and scores live with Apple. The app also reports anonymous usage statistics that contain no name, email, or nickname. The full details are in the Privacy Policy.
Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not inside the app. Open Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your device, or follow Apple's guide. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Pro until the period you already paid for runs out.
Open the Pro screen and tap Restore purchases — that checks the App Store for the Apple ID currently signed in on the device, which is the usual cause (a second Apple ID, or a fresh install). If it still says nothing was found, email us the date of the purchase and we will sort it out.
Refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID.
Tell us — send the topic and roughly when you saw it, or a screenshot. The image bank grows and is corrected regularly, and a card that most players get "wrong" is usually our labelling, not their eyes.
